Possessing over eight years at the Jamaican Bar, Garfield Haisley, is a partner in the firm Page and Haisley and brings to the practice of wealth of experience in civil and criminal litigation.
Garfield has practised in the Resident Magistrates Courts across the island, in the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeal, and has appeared before the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council in the United Kingdom.
Immediately prior to joining Page & Haisley, Garfield worked as Crown Counsel for the Government of the Cayman Islands. Garfield honed his experience at the private bar while working at the firm Vacciana and Whittingham, where he worked as an associate attorney. There he specialized in the areas of conveyance, commercial law, divorce and family matters, and others.
However, much of Garfield’s professional experience was garnered as Crown Counsel at the Attorney General's Department, where he worked in the Litigation Division for over 6 years. He, like his partner, gained valuable experience in civil litigation under the some of Jamaica leading legal luminaries.
Garfield is a member of the Jamaican Bar Association.
